ONSITE DIPLOMA IN THEOLOGY AND SPIRITUALITY
- The School of Pastoral and Religious Education (SPRE) offers two years Diploma in Theology and Spirituality in campus.
- This Program is designed specifically for Institutes of Consecrated life and Societies of Apostolic Life, Public Association of the faithful who desires to provide its members with requisite theological formation.
- The two-year diploma program done in campus is structured in six modules. Three modules are done annually. A module is for a period of Three intensive weeks. This enables the students to acquire requisite formation necessary for their ministry/ apostolates, while at the same time engaging in their specific ministries/apostolates.
ONLINE DIPLOMA IN THEOLOGY AND SPIRITUALITY
- The School of Pastoral and Religious Education (SPRE) offers two years online Diploma in Theology and Spirituality.
- This Program is designed specifically for both Consecrated Persons and Lay persons.
- This program is designed to bring the Institute’s renowned theological programs to the doorsteps of many individuals who yearn for sound theological education but are unable, for different reasons, to engage in fulltime or in situ studies. The philosophical underpinning this program is rooted in the fundamental assumption of the harmonious and constructive dialogue between faith and reason; religion, science and culture; church and society.
- This program is delivered entirely online, and is structured in a way that will enable students meet the demand of their respective employment/trade/apostolate while acquiring concurrently a very sound very sound theological, pastoral and spiritual formation.
- Classes are held thrice weekly: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for two hours in the Evening, 7:00pm - 9:00pm (West African Time).
- A course is offered for a period of six weeks. A total of 36 credit hours is required for each course for the duration of 6 weeks. (6 hours per week: Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday for 6 weeks).
MINIMUM ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates must possess at least a Secondary School Education. Holders of recognized Degree certificates, Diploma Certificates and Professional certificates can also apply.
- candidates for online diploma program are required to have very good and practical knowledge of modern ICT.
